of the 11th Jane, I have the honour to enelene
copies of further correspondence regarding
the Chinese telegraph office in Hongkong.
It will be seen that the Hongkong Government
has nooopted the nomination by the Canton Government
of Hr. kong Sin-lai as Superintendent of the Chinese
Telegraph Administration in Hongkong, and the Com-
missioner for Foreign ¿ffairs has been so informed.
on the other hand the Commissioner has notified me
officially that this appointment is approved by the
Banking Ministry of Communications.
